went to the bank this lunch break, requested a new atm card, a new bankbook and changed some of my personal info - all in all, it only took me less than 30 mins ... bagal pa yun ha kasi bago yata yung teller na natapat sa kin saka may pagka-chismosa, daming tanong tungkol sa buhay-SG ng isang pinoy, pati brand ng damit ko inalam, kulang na lang itanong pati brand ng brip ko. Sa tin kaya? I remember when I processed my passport, nakupo, para kong dumaan sa butas ng karayom. First requirement was the NBI clearance, which took me a day.
next week will be my nasal polyps surgery, it will take 2 weeks including wound
rehabilation if it's done in Pinas while i can go back to work in 3-4 days if i do it here, that is why my 'amo' gave me a 'pahulugan', so I can afford the expense here - she is really a 'parent' -'ma-GULANG' in tagalog. It's better though because the medical expertise and facilities is way much modern here (modern equals expensive). I've been to the hospital's pre-surgery orientation, health screening including the medical fee computations. The procedure will only take 2-3 hours and I'm pleased to know that I have a benefit as a tax payer to choose my ward type. There was so much diffence between the private and subsidized wards fee. Think - I have to pay 3 times the TOTAL EXPENSE (read:TOTAL) if I want to stay overnight in a 4-bed airconditioned ward with own tv set. The hell, no way! I will be contented to sleep with my 5 fellow frankenstein wardmates...anyway, I don't think the public wards here are comparable to ours in pinas. This will be my first time to be in a surgery room (except for my circumcision) and i can damn feel the tsunami in my chest. shit, ganito pala feeling ng virgin sa unang karanasan. Hik!

bosing bongk, laging matigas toits, hehehe...
Tanggers, good luck sa operation mo. Kayang-kaya mo yan. Huwag mag-alala, siwsiw lang yan. Mader ko rin (o baka pader ko? hindi ko na maalala) na operahan din with exactly the same problem in Pinas decades ago. After 1-2 weeks completely okay na siya. Eh ngayon pa na modern ang equipments dyan at facilities - kaya cool ka lang, you'll be all right. Ingats!
Well, let's hope everything goes well and passes on like a breeze. I've had undergone surgery before and it's not really that scary naman. You're given medicine to sleep and that's it. You wake up in the recovery room, sleep some more... Nothing to it, man.
Sir metal...welcome back idol
Thanks Ma'am Celia and Sir Rolly.
No doubt that I have shed significant amount of sweat getting my requirements. Huhuhu.
Hope everything's gonna fine with the surgery!
modern facilities = holdaaaap!
please get well soon. I guess your surgery con vacation in Pinas is out then.... *hugs* good luck on the surgery
thanks Ver, P're Watson and G!
