Tagal ko na palang di nakaka-kain ng tsamporado, matingnan nga sa site ni Ma'am Celia kusinera o Ma'am Ting-aling kung meron silang recipe ng tsamporado. YUM!
Ano nga pala english ng tsamporado? CHAMPORADES?

Ang handa nga pala namin last Christmas Eve:
HONEY-GLAZED TURKEY - na pagkahirap ubusin,;
ROASTED BEEF - na pagkahirap nguyain;
SPAGHETTI - na mas ok yatang tawaging kinamatisang noodles;
LECHE FLAN at BUKO SALAD - di na lang hinanda yung garapon ng asukal, prehas din ng lasa;
AFRITADA - kalderata daw yung niluto nila, sabi ng iba, lasang mechado, yung iba naman daw, afritada, kaya nag-botohan,ang nanalo, afritada, okey ngarud;
and my favorite sa lahat - TINAPAY NA WALANG PALAMAN - na sinawsaw sa red wine.

Sarap ng handa namin, nabundat ako sa kabusugan. Sana kayo din :)

Christmas Eve

It's 24th and I'm working whole day at the office.

went to the toilet, pee, wash hands, looked at the mirror, nothing unusual except for the eyebugs, then went back to my 6 sq. meter kingdom, then wondered why do i have eyebugs, suddenly i remembered, it's nearly the end of the year and it's nearly my birthday again. so much to think about, why bother to think about my birthday. but if a magic genie will grant my wish, it would be a day long stay in a fancy hotel room and i'll sleep all day to get rid of this eyebugs :)

Christmas Bonus

Kararating lang ng boss namin from India, at pinamigay nya na ang christmas bonus sa amin: tig-2 PIRASONG ORANGE, na ang diameter ay sinlaki ng ordinaryong mata. Bwakanang-inang yan!

Iba't-ibang klase ng pagluto ng TUYO

PRITO. Iprito ang TUYO sa mainit na mantika.

BALBAKWA. My peyborit, iprito ang TUYO sa mainit na mantika, pag luto na, hinaan ang apoy at buhusan ng suka na may sili. Hanguin at lamunin.

ANYHOW NA TUYO. Ilagay ang TUYO sa pre-heat oven at hanguin pag medyo sunog na.

INIHAW NA TUYO SA NAGBABAGANG ULING. Ihawin ang TUYO sa nagbabagang uling.

TUYO-CROWAVE. Pag walang mapaglutuan, iluto sa microwave.

Miss ko na TUYO, makabili nga mamaya sa Lucky Plaza.

Busy and bored

At times like this, you need JUICY FRUIT GUM. Last time i remembered, this gum was 'tatlo piso' may kasama pang lobo. Magkano na ba ngayon? Paborito ko nung bata ako: champoy, rebisco choco biscuit, cheese-it, sisid, kropek na sawsaw sa suka, white rabit(kinakain pati balat sa loob), sarsi, pop cola, hi-c, cornik, cheese curls, flat tops, tarzan bubble gum at milo (bilog-bilog na matamis na parang ebs ng kambing). Wala lang.

Whatahweekend

Camping-out will definitely be our new-found hobby, kaka-relax at enjoy ang nature trip. Marami rin activities like biking (I brought my bike and kid's bike), fishing, kite-flying, roller-blading, kayaking at bb-q. Pwede rin humilata buong hapon and magkamot ng itlog enjoy the magnificent creation of God. Minus point nga lang pag umulan tulad ng nangyari last sunday morning. That is why I need a much bigger and better tent for the family. Para kasi kaming mga basang sisiw na nung umaga. Pictures will be posted soon.

It's good to get in touch with long-lost friends and classmates and thanks to the power of the internet. First was email, then chat and now the Friendster. Kakagulat nga minsan, bigla na lang may mag-a-add and be surprised that he or she was one of the past classmate. So what's next after this technology. Maybe, a satellite tracker? 3d hologram phones or chatrooms? Maybe a chip inserted into one's brain that can contact a person by telepathy? Wow, my ideas should be patented or pathetic?

Sometimes, I wonder about the complexity of life. Fpj, a movie icon in Phil, died
and mourned by many Filipinos. Oh yes, i clearly remember his characters in his movies. The blacksmith who become a superhero and fight Lizardo, the evil villaine to death with his magical sword, the cue master who battled his enemies in billard table and fist fight, the Tondo-boy who fearlessly fight the big gangster of his town and many more. And now, I think the elected Vice-president is more mournful than anybody in the world because if Fpj won the previous election, he should be now the President, a fast-track promotion. But sorry for him, it's now too late to support FPJ for his campaign. May he rest in peace!

Only this year that I become adventurous to the local foods here. I craved for different tastes, that is why I tried Indian's, Thai's,Korean's, Malay's and Chinese's women delicacies and next stop, will be japanese foods. Surely, I'm no fan of rare crustacean but let's see if my stomach can bare with me. I planned to bring my wife to one of the japok resto here, so hope we enjoy the food. Harigatto Haik!

Weekend Menu

We're heading to the beach this afternoon and will camp there overnight, nice! Just in time to relax and unwind, eat some bb-q and drink booze with friends. I need this.
Baby S was sick for the past few days, good thing he's ok now, back to normal him, charged with superpowers and energy that never drains-out, super-likot but still sweet. It's hard to see him sick, guess every parent knows the feeling. He don't want to take his medicines so we have to facilitate it the hard way. I have to hold him and wife have to force him to take it by using an injection(w/out syringe). He misses going to school.
Bo lost his false teeth this morning and it's nowhere to find. He said he just put it on the dining table but somebody may have trashed it. The house was put upside down this morning just to find that 1 piece jacketed-tooth and he can't go to work because he looks like chita-eh na walang ipin sa harap. We gave him alternative solutions like corn-bits, styro-foam, bubble-gum, cut-rubber slipper, I don't know if he still went to work. But I guess that makes our day.
I can't go back this december for my surgery for some reasons. I'll just postponed it on early january or the chinese new year to have a longer vacation. arrivederci!
